In the production cycle of a fork-shaped article (1) or other easily deformable article, a die-casting step (A) is provided concurrently with which a connecting element between the arms (2) of the fork-shaped article (1) is formed. After a roughing-out step (B) for removal of the fork-shaped articles (1) from a moulding sprue (7), surface-finish workings (C) are carried out on the fork-shaped articles (1). The presence of the connecting element (8) prevents undesirable deformations of the fork-shaped articles during these finishing steps. When the finishing operations are over, a blanking step (D) causes removal of the connecting element (8) from each fork-shaped article (1). |
