<p>A hairdye composition which comprises a mixture of a first ingredient comprising an alkali agent and a second ingredient comprising an oxidizing agent, the first and second ingredients being mixed at time of use. The mixture comprises (a) a triazacyclononane compound (1) or a salt thereof, (b) an oxidizing agent in an amount of 0.1 to 12 wt.% in terms of hydrogen peroxide, and (c) 0.05 to 10 wt.% alkali agent, and has a pH of 7.5 to 12. (1) (2) [R1 to R4 each is hydrogen or C1-6 alkyl optionally substituted by OH, and R5 to R7 each is hydrogen, (substituted) C1-6 alkyl, (substituted) aralkyl, (substituted) heteroarylalkyl, (substituted) aryl, (substituted) heteroaryl, (substituted) C1-6 acyl, or a group represented by (2) (R8 to R12 each is hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl, aralkyl, or aryl and n is a number of 2 to 30).] The hairdye composition has an excellent decoloring ability and can dye the hair in a bright satisfactory tone. It is less apt to damage the hair or irritate the head skin.</p> |
