Method and appliance for producing a concrete bottom shaft part which has holes in the side. Moldings (8) for the holes are fixed to bars (5a) extending parallel with the lengthwise axis of the shaft's bottom part. The moldings form parts of a holder (5) which is assembled outside the production machine and inserted into the slot between the core (4) and outer casing (6) of the production machine. The slot is filled with concrete which is vibrated.
