The stirrup lock for a two-wheeled vehicle, e.g. a bicycle or motor cycle, has a lock body (11), a stirrup (21), and a plug (15) fitted into one end of the stirrup. The plug is inserted into a holder (17) at the lock body, to be locked in place. A grip is within the lock body, which is structured to grip behind or around the inserted plug. The stirrup is formed by a cable, an armored cable, a chain, a rigid or linked stirrup structure (13a-13c).
