ACCESS METHOD AND UMTS REPEATER SYSTEM WITH SPECTRAL EXCHANGE BETWEEN UMTS WAVE FREQUENCIES

The system comprises one or several UMTS cellular base stations, one or several near repeaters, one or several remote repeaters and UMTS cellular remote terminals. The cellular station(s) provide(s) UMTS cellular communications services to the near terminals in their coverage area and will connect by cable to one or several near repeaters. The near repeaters communicate with one or several remote repeaters in another UMTS wave frequency via radio. Each remote repeater communicates with a near repeater in one of the UMTS wave frequencies and with the remote terminals in another UMTS wave frequency. The remote terminals communicate with the base station by means of the repeater system.
