A hinge device for the articulation of spectacle arms (2) is described and comprises a first hinge element and a second hinge element (4, 5) having respective through-holes (7, 11) for the insertion of a pin (12) for the hinged articulation of one element relative to the other about a hinge axis (X). The device further comprises a locking element (13) which is structurally independent of the hinge elements (4, 5) and which can be mounted removably on the said elements in order to trap and restrain the pin (12) axially between the hinge elements in the articulation of the arms to the spectacles.
