<p>A jack (J) in which a good conduction state is brought about by allowing a contact surely to touch a tip electrode (10) at the forward end of a plug (P) without increasing the size of the jack. A contact unit (CU) having a pair of forward end contacts (CT) touching the tip electrode (10) at the forward end of the plug (P) while encircling is built in the body (20). The contact unit (CU) comprises a linking part (23), an intermediate part (24) extending from the opposite end parts of the linking part (23) toward the opening side of a plug insertion hole (H), and a part (25) folded back toward the inner end side of the plug insertion hole (H) such that it stretches from the end part of the intermediate part (24) to the side of the plug insertion hole (H), all of which are formed integrally from a stripe conductor of copper alloy, or the like, by bending, and the forward end contact (CT) is formed on the free end side of the fold back part (25).</p> |
