METHOD OF DRIVING PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL FOR VARYING WIDTH OF SUSTAIN PULSE

PURPOSE: A method of driving a plasma display panel for varying width of a sustain pulse is provided to reduce the electro-magnetic interference by varying AC pulses applied to all display cells. CONSTITUTION: A method of driving a plasma display panel for varying width of a sustain pulse includes a reset process, an address process, and a display sustain process. The reset process is to form uniformly each state of charges of display cells. The address process is to form wall charges of the predetermined voltage on the display cells which are turned on. The display sustain process is to perform a display discharge operation on only the display cells having the wall charges by applying AC pulses to all display cells. The display sustain process includes a process for varying the AC pulses applied to all display cells.
