PURPOSE: Structure of a striker cover for a vehicle is provided to prevent breakage of the striker cover from interference with a locking unit in moving a lift gate by covering the striker with striker cover, and to improve the appearance of the transverse trim by lowering the installation position of the striker. CONSTITUTION: A striker is fixed in the upper part of an end panel of a vehicle, and an opening part(3a) is formed in the upper part of a transverse trim(3) to protrude the striker. A striker cover(4) is attached to the opening part of the transverse trim with covering the striker. The striker is coved by the transverse trim, and a fixing sill(3b) is formed in the transverse trim near the opening part. A long fixing shaft(6) is inserted to the fixing sill, and the left and right striker covers and a spring(5) are inserted to the fixing shaft. Breakage of the striker cover is prevented by removing interference of the locking unit with dividing the striker cover.
