<p>A waterborne acrylate-functionalized alkyd coating composition is disclosed, which includes an acrylate-functionalized alkyd resin, at least one drier, and water. The acrylate-functionalized alkyd resin comprises the reaction product of (i) a hydroxy functional alkyd resin, (ii) an acid anhydride, and (iii) a glycidyl acrylate. Methods of preparing waterborne acrylate-functionalized alkyd coating compositions are also disclosed.</p> |
