<p>A container for granular material with a discharge port (5) in the centre of the bottom is fitted with a flexible sheet which cover the bottom and sides of the container. The sheet is secured around the edges of the discharge port and to the upper edges (4) of the container. To assist with the discharge of the material, especially when the container is nearly empty, compressed air is injected, via an inlet port (7), to raise the flexible sheet into a funnel shape. The insert sheet can be made from two sheets welded together with hot air welding or RF welding.</p> |
