The cassette storage unit is a basically rectangular box open on one side and generally following the external dimensions of the cassettes in cross-section. The bos (1) contains an insert (4) which can move to and fro between the base of the box and its front side, and the cassettes (2) are carried by the insert. Pref. the insert has a series of fingers spaced apart by the width of a cassette. The insert is pref. coupled to a hinged front cover on the box.
