A cooled centrifugal fiberising wheel (1) comprises an inner cylindrical support (5) and an outer fiberising cylinder (2) formed of axially extending segments (14) releasably mounted on the inner cylinder (5) and there is an annular coolant passage (7) for passing coolant between the inner cylindrical support (5) and the releasable segments (14).
