<p>A cellular phone having an antenna built therein in which the physical size of an antenna element is suitably reduced, the weight is reduced and the shock resistance is satisfied, dimensional dispersion in mass production is suppressed, and a practical service condition of permitting access by hands, etc. is taken into account. A dielectric member (15) between the antenna element (2a) and a ground (6) is a supporting member formed of cycloolefin polymer of shock-resistant plating grade consisting of styrene rubber, polyolefin rubber (elastomer), or both thereof blended with each other, and the antenna element (2a) is constituted by a plating formed on a main surface of the dielectric member (15).</p> |
