<p>An assembly of an electronic circuit device (30) and an electrical circuit board or ribbon (40) wherein the electronic circuit device has at least two contact pins (33) depending therefrom and is mounted at an edge of the circuit board or ribbon. The at least two contact pins are bent in towards each other, then outwardly with respect to the electronic circuit device so as to define end portions (134) that are separated by the circuit board or ribbon.
