The device has an axial bearing (4), a supporting end plate (1) to absorb axial loads and introduce these into a smaller contact face, and a securing ring (2). The end plate is divided into zones with material with compression on one side and high expansion on the other side. Due to this, an initial tilting movement of the end plate generates a counter force to the axial force within it, and thereby prevents further tilting of the plate. During the tilting movement, the plate has zones in its radial end sections charged by pressure and tension forces, and a neutral tension zone in a transitional area formed by a bracket (6). |
