<p>A novel gemstone cut comprising a crown (300), a girdle, and a pavilion (400), wherein the gemstone includes precious gemstones (such as diamonds) and semi-precious gemstones. The crown includes an octagonal table (302), which is surrounded by eight triangular star facets (304). Eight table bezels (306) are disposed in-between the star facets (304) and eight mid-bezels (308) are disposed in-between the table bezels (306). Furthermore, the gemstone's pavilion (400) has eight concentrically arranged culet pavilion facets (432), girdle pavilion facet (436) and a bottom small break facet (434) that are disposed in-between the culet pavilion facets (432). The gemstone's girdle has eight left top half facets (312) and eight right top half facets (314), located in-between the girdle bezels of the crown, and eight left bottom half facets (422) and eight right bottom half facets (424) disposed in-between the girdle pavilion facets (436) and bottom small break facets (434).</p> |
