METHOD FOR DISCRIMINATING ORGANIC AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS FROM CONVENTIONAL ONE USING RATIO OF NITROGEN ISOTOPE

PURPOSE: A method for discriminating organic agricultural products from conventional one using the ratio of nitrogen isotope is provided, thereby accurately discriminating the organic agricultural products. CONSTITUTION: A method for discriminating organic agricultural products from conventional one comprises the steps of: (a) measuring the nitrogen isotope of the soil sample collected from the cultivated land to determine the ratio of nitrogen isotope of the soil sample; and (b) calculating the nitrogen isotope index of the soil sample using an equation (1),δ15N=£Rsample/Rstandard-1|x1000, wherein the soil sample is determined as conventional cultivated land when the nitrogen isotope index is 5% or less and the soil sample is determined as organic cultivated land when the nitrogen isotope index is 8% or more.
