Polymer composition with a biodegradable polymer and material, extract(s) and/or essential compound(s) from herbs of the Asteraceae family

A polymer composition including: (A) a biologically degradable polymer and (B) a material from plants of the family Asteraceae, is the sub-family of Asteroideae, and/or an extract from this material is new. Independent claims are included for: (1) a shaped body including the polymer composition; (2) a fabric including a shaped body as above; (3) a nonwoven including a shaped body as above; (4) a piece of clothing including the above shaped body; (5) a process for preparation of a shaped body by the steps:(A) optionally continuous mixing of a biologically degradable polymer and material from the plant Asteraceae and/or an extract from the material of this plant and/or one or more materials of the plant, (B) preparation of a deformable composition, (C) processing this composition to give the shaped body, and optionally (D) post-treatment of the shaped body obtained.
