The composite brake disc for a vehicle has a brake disc nave (3) to which is fastened a friction ring (2) via a protrusion (2c) which viewed in the radial direction extends parallel to the rotational axis (1) of the brake disc inside the wall of the nave. The elements (5) connecting the nave wall and protrusion lie far enough out in the radial direction (R) in such a way that the inside wall (2d) of the protrusion facing the rotational axis can function as a run-on face of a drum brake.
