PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to increase luminance of the liquid crystal display and minimize the overall size and weight of the liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display(600) includes a light source(100) for generating the first beam, a light guide(200), a reflector(300), and a liquid crystal display panel(500). The light guide is composed of an incident face to which the light beam is inputted, the first projection face for guiding the first beam to project the second beam, and the second projection face for projecting the third beam inputted through the first projection face. The reflector includes a support layer, a light-condensing layer having a plurality of protrusions, a reflection layer covering the overall surface of the light-condensing layer, and a protection layer for protecting the reflection layer. The reflector reflects the second beam to provide the third beam having improved luminance to the light guide. The liquid crystal display panel receives the third beam from the light guide to display an image. |
