PURPOSE: A solid waste treatment apparatus is provided, which exhibits excellent cutting and crushing efficiencies of waste and greatly improves sterilization effect when treating medical waste. CONSTITUTION: In a solid waste treatment apparatus comprising a cover for injecting and discharging waste; a housing(2) opened or closed by the cover, and a rotation drum(6) which is rotationally installed inside the housing, and on the inner wall of which screw blade for guiding moving of waste is installed, the waste treatment apparatus further comprises a core shaft(20) rotated separately from the rotation shaft; and a cutter blade holder(22) on which cutter blades(23) are mounted, and which is installed at an end of the core shaft positioned inside the rotation drum, wherein the core shaft is installed in such a way that the core shaft penetrates the inside of hollow driving shaft of the rotation drum, wherein the core shaft is rotated forward and reversely, wherein a cutter blade mounting groove is formed on the cutter blade holder so that the cutter blades are mounted on the cutter blade mounting groove, wherein a fixing pin inserting groove is formed on the cutter blade mounting groove so that a fixing pin(24) installed at the cutter blades are inserted into the fixing pin inserting groove, wherein a holder cover(26) is removably installed at the cutter blade holder, wherein a refraction part(23A) is formed at an end part of the cutter blades, and wherein a pair of cutter blades are installed at the cutter blade holder in such a way that the bottom of the cutter blades is horizontal to the cutter blade holder while the other pair of cutter blades are slantly installed.
