PURPOSE: An air suspension for a vehicle is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by the simplified structure and improve riding comfort and durability of an air spring by instantly responding to the vibrations transmitted to the body of the vehicle from the road surface. CONSTITUTION: An air suspension for a vehicle includes air springs(1) mounted to the top of the middle part of leaf springs(2) installed to the ends of front and rear axles; an air tank(10) supplying air to the air spring; an air compressor(8) taking in outer air, compressing the outer air, and transferring the compressed air to the air tank; a relay electrically connected from a key terminal(6) of the vehicle to control the air compressor; an air filter(9) mounted to an inlet side of the air compressor to filter the outer air coming in; a pressure control valve(12) installed to a pipe line extended from a discharge outlet side of the air tank; a pressure sensor(11) mounted to a side of the air tank to sense the pressure of the inside of the air tank and transmit the sensed signal to the relay; an exhaust valve(13) installed to a pipe line branched to the air springs from the discharge outlet side of the air tank; and a safety valve(14) mounted to a discharge outlet side of the exhaust valve. The exhaust valve has an inlet port and the discharge outlet, and an exhaust port, exhausting some of the compressed air in the air spring to the outside, is installed to a side of the exhaust valve. A rubber separating film, opening and shutting the exhaust port according to the pressure of the air spring, is interposed in the exhaust valve.
