PURPOSE: A transmitting method of a mobile communication system for a multi-chip rate is provided to enable all users to share a scrambling code of the lowest chip rate used in the system, thereby reducing interference power caused by a frequency overlapping between the users having different chip rates. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication system inputs many chip rate signals. The mobile communication system spreads the inputted chip rate signals as chip rates of a corresponding OVSF(Orthogonal Variable Spreading Factor) code. The mobile communication system scrambles the spread chip rate signals by using the same scrambling code. The mobile communication system modulates the scrambled chip rate signals with the same carrier wave, and transmits the modulated chip rate signals. |
