The procedure consists of fastening the shingles (2) with straps (9) after stacking on top of one another to make bundles (1) with a width equivalent to the width of one shingle but with staggered ends. The shingles are stacked with their thinner ends towards the centre of the bundle for protection of the shingles, and the projecting length (7) of the staggered ends is between one sixth and one half of a shingle length (5, 6).
