Method for earthquake prediction and epicenter location using SAT-spectrum analysis (Sferics, atmospherics, technics) based on ULF field detection. Accordingly atmospheric, low frequency ELF-VLF signals or electromagnetic fields are detected using SAT antennae. The captured signals are filtered and subjected to spectrum analysis. From the signals ULF anomalies are determined and the direction of the anomalies detected using receiver-analysis units placed more than a thousand km apart. The invention also relates to a corresponding device.
