摘要 <p>PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing filler used in industry from sericitic pottery stone through the processes of selective grinding and classification to separate coarse quartz from fine sericite. The method saves grinding time, increases grinding efficiency, and prevents contamination of ground products. CONSTITUTION: The production method is as follows: removing Fe contained in pottery stone, mine ore, by flotation and magnetic separation to increase whiteness; grinding the ore including hard minerals such as quartz and feldspar to a size less than 61-74micrometer by selective grinding technique; firstly classifying the ground powder to the size less than 43micrometer; secondly classifying the powder(<=43micrometer) to the size less than 12micrometer, ultrafine powder. Therefore, coarse ground powder, quartz, is discharged, and fine ground powder, sericite, is recovered by classification.</p>
