PURPOSE: A gas lifter is provided to improve the efficiency of the gas lifter by opening the lid easily at the initial stage with reducing the weight of the lid, and to minimize breakage or noise by offsetting resistance in opening the lid. CONSTITUTION: A gas lifter is composed of a vehicle body assembling part(27) turning around a hinge shaft(31); a cylinder(22) integrally fixed to the vehicle body assembling part with containing nitrogen gas and oil; a rod(24) inserted to the cylinder and expanded and contracted in the end of the cylinder according to the volume of nitrogen gas in the cylinder; a support plate(32) vertically installed in the outside of the rod, and contacted or spaced from the end of the cylinder according to expansion and contraction of the rod; a spring(26) mounted around the rod to elastically support the support plate; and a lid assembling part(21) supported to the lid with holding the spring.
