摘要	PURPOSE: An illumination apparatus is provided to improve illumination efficiency and to achieve an optical fiber having a short length by arranging a light source adjacent to a light radiating section. CONSTITUTION: An illumination apparatus includes an X-Y stage(1) capable of horizontally moving in X-axis and Y-axis directions. A body(2) is supported on the X-Y stage(1). The illumination apparatus also has a light source(3) installed in a place remote from the X-Y stage(1), LED light source devices(5A,5B) receiving power from the light source through a robot cable(4), and light radiating sections for radiating light towards a workpiece. A bundle of optical fibers(7A,7B) are provided to guide light towards heads(6A,6B). A photographing device(8) is provided to photograph the workpiece.
