Control sleeve (20) for a spinning wheel used in blasting systems comprises a hollow cylindrical base body (22) having on its periphery an outlet opening (24) for blasting material. An edge protection (26) is provided in the region of the outlet opening. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Spinning wheel with the above adjusting sleeve; and (2) Blasting system with the above spinning wheel. Preferred Features: The edge protection is made flush in the base body and surrounds the outlet opening on all sides. The edge protection is an insert, especially a hard metal insert.
