PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for attaching a film type lead frame to a carrier frame are provided to be capable of improving productivity by automating the attaching process and intensifying the adhesion between the film type lead frame and the carrier frame by using a pressing roller. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus is provided with a transfer part(11) for transferring a film type lead frame and a carrier frame, a tape supply part(14) for supplying a tape, a tape vacuum adsorbing part capable of freely moving to all the directions, and a tape outlet and cut part(13). At this time, the transfer part includes a vacuum adsorbing jig. The apparatus further includes the first adhesion part(15) for attaching the tape between the film type lead frame and the carrier frame, the second adhesion part(16) for carrying out a pressing adhesion by using a pressing roller, and a bleeding part.
