摘要 <p>Agent having immunoregulatory properties, especially inhibitory activity against in-vivo development of those organisms or cells which are capable of secreting or freeing in vivo "immuno-repulsive substances", especially low molecular weight antiinflammatories, contains active constituents of higher molecular weight, having in their structures several groups respectively derived from low molecular weight immuno-repulsive substances of the type which pathogenic cells or organisms of the type in question are capable of secreting or freeing either in the host organism or in vitro culture medium; the number of these groups being sufficient to give the active constituents a sufficient molecular weight so as to make them immunogenic. Usually the higher molecular weight active constituents are polymers of the "immuno-repulsive substances." "Immuno-repulsive substances" are those cpds. which are capable of blocking the normal immune defence mechanisms of the host. Immunoregulatory substances which reinforce the immune defence mechanism of the host against pathogens. The substances may be used therapeutically to inhibit the proliferation of metastases and malignant tumour cells or to avoid the development of microorganisms or parasites which inhibit the immune defence mechanism of the host. The agent may also be associated with (opt. co-crosslinked) the active constituents of specific vaccines, which are only weakly effective, so as to reinforce their activity. The substances are usually administered parentally, orally or rectally in doses of 5-10 mg/kg. The substances may also be used as reagents e.g. as reference standards in the testing of substances which inhibit malignant tumours, pathogenic microorganisms, parasites.</p>
