PURPOSE: A method for managing a name card is provided to manage the name card on the web by using an ID number given to the name card, and searching and registering the name card information matched with the ID number to a database. CONSTITUTION: A name card information receiver(101) receives the name card information from a client computer(200) of a member. An ID number generator(102) gives the ID number to the member, and stores the name card information in the name card information database(106) by including the ID number. An ID number receiver(103) receives the ID number noted on the name card from the client computer(200). A name card manager(104) searches a name card sender by searching the name card information database(106), and registers the name card sender information to a name card management database(107) of a name card receiver. A name card information output part(105) outputs the name card sender information stored in the name card management database(107) of the name card receiver according to a request from the client computer(200).
