The fastening device for the fastening of pipes or similar objects has an assembly rail (3) with a C-section and longitudinal opening (2), and a mounting plate (1) with a threaded through-hole (8). The mounting plate on the side facing the longitudinal opening has at least one bridge (14a) serving for reinforcing and positioning. A bridge is provided on each side of the female thread (9) in the through-hole of the mounting plate. The cross section of the mounting plate is U-form in construction, whereby the free ends form the bridges.
