The holding bar (2) for rotating an earth processing component, such as a ground drill, earth loosening apparatus, plant hole borer or similar, comprises a grip (3) arranged crossways at the upper end of the bar, stagewise securabel and rotatable in relation to the bar. The grip is limitedly axially adjustable to the bar by means of a pin (4) arranged centrally on the grip and engaging in the hollow upper eend of the bar. Sawtooth-type inclined teeth (5,5') are arranged on the pin and the bar. They are interengaged and surround the pin and bar in a ring-shaped manner.
