PURPOSE: A dialing method using a phone book of a cellular phone is provided to display all telephone numbers of people registered in the phone book when displaying dial history information, thereby enabling a user to select all the displayed telephone numbers to make calls. CONSTITUTION: An MCU(Memory Control Unit) senses that a user presses a 'send' key(S10), and displays dial history information through a display(S20). The MCU recognizes a called party when the user selects the called party from the dial history information(S30). The MCU recognizes that one of telephone number distinguishing icons is selected by corresponding to the called party(S40). The MCU senses that the 'send' key is pressed, and dials a telephone number corresponding to the selected icon(S50). The MCU decides whether the user is connected with the dialled telephone number(S60). If so, the MCU enables the user to have a conversation with the called party(S70).
