Electric lamp

An electric lamp comprises a hermetically sealed bulb (2) made of light transparent material, a filament (5) with two end regions (6), an electricity supply, and foil sections (8). The electricity supply consists of inner and outer sections (7,9), and the inner end holds the light body. The ends of the filament connections are joined to a foil, and the foil ends are folded over. The folded section has a reduced surface on at least one of its two free corners.
