PURPOSE: A micro inductor is provided to reduce the dimension of inductor by using a parasitic inductance generated at a via of a printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION: A micro inductor is comprised of a via(3), a metal formed within the via(3), and a conductive wire for connecting the via(3). A cell is defined by one conductive wire and one via connected to the conductive wire. A parasitic inductance is obtained through the cell. An inductance is changed according to a diameter of the via(3), a height of a substrate, and a thickness of the metal. A desired inductor is made by changing the plurality of cells, i.e., the number of via(3) and connecting a plurality of cells in serial since an inductance is linearly increased proportional to the number of via(3). The resultant inductor has a very small dimension.
