A luminaire comprises a housing 1, a cover (11, figure 1), rear door (12, figure 1), optical fittings and electrical fittings located within the housing 1. The optical fittings comprises an enclosed reflector unit 20 having an interior reflective surface (121, figure 9) which has a generally concave shape along its longitudinal axis. A light source 30 is mounted mountable centrally along the interior of the reflective unit 20 by means of a lampholder 41 positioned adjacent the reflector unit 20. The cover (11, figure 1) comprises sheets of refracting materials (13, figure 1). The cover (cover (11, figure 1) and the rear door (12, figure 1) openings out to allow easy access to the components of the luminaire. |
