Method and device for placing a tubular element on a receiving part and corresponding assembly

Method for placing a tubular retractable bushing sleeve (2) onto a cable (3) or similar, at a precise position by means of a fitting tool (1). The tool (1) has a hollow rigid tube (5) on the exterior of which the sleeve (2) is initially stretched, and a slide means (6) providing a relatively low friction coefficient between the tube (5) and the part (2). The method consists of: - maintaining the part (2) in position and; - exerting on a supple synthetic material casing (7), extending inside upto a rear end of the tube (5) a traction force towards the rear which causes the simultaneous evacuation of the tube (5) with the casing (7). - - LAn Independent claim is included for an extractable fitting sleeve.
