<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite powdery body for capturing ammonia gas which is capable of satisfactorily capturing ammonia gas without the limitation of an installation place, a manufacturing method thereof and an alkali battery using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The composite powdery body for capturing ammonia gas is formed by coating ammonia gas capturing powder with entangled fibril of polytetrafluoroethylene having a number average molecular weight of 200,000-2,000,000. The alkali battery has the built-in composite powdery body for capturing ammonia gas. The manufacturing method of the composite powdery body for capturing ammonia gas is performed by supplying the fluorocarbon resin having a number average molecular weight of 200,000-2,000,000 and the ammonia gas capturing powder in a pulverizer to coat the ammonia gas capturing powder with the fluorocarbon resin by the pulverization action of the pulverizer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
