<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire monitoring device for a vehicle, capable of improving anti-theft of the vehicle as well as anti-theft of a tire. <P>SOLUTION: Respective sensor devices 11a to 11d detect if the tires 2a to 2d rotate or are removed and transmit the detected information as radio signals. A monitor device 12 includes a receiving circuit 34, a microcomputer 35, and an annunciating means 33. The receiving circuit 34 receives the radio signals transmitted from the respective sensor devices 11a to 11d. The microcomputer 35 discriminates some failure in the tires 2a to 2d based on the received radio signal at the time of stopping the vehicle 1. The annunciating means 33 annunciates a failure condition in the tires 2a to 2d based on the discriminated results of the microcomputer 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
