PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide topical treatment (especially at the lung) of adrenomedullin because the instruction or suggestion that the adrenomedullin is effective for the topical treatment is not present up to date regardless of the characteristic properties of the adrenomedullin. SOLUTION: An inhalant for treatment or prevention of pulmonary hypertension contains the adrenomedullin. As a result, the pulmonary hypertension (e.g. primary pulmonary hypertension) can effectively be treated or prevented without causing systemic hypotension. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
