PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling apparatus by which a player enjoys a game through a long period without losing interest in the game or feeling unpleasant or irritated by preventing models from coming out when the models collide with each other. SOLUTION: The traveling apparatus is used for a racing game apparatus provided with a track plate for allowing a plurality of the models to travel on its upper face and traveling routes arranged under the track path, and shape of a plane view which is nearly like a boat at least in an advancing direction. The traveling apparatus is provided with traveling bodies for traveling on the traveling routes and pulling bodies which respectively pull one of the models placed on the track plate via magnetic force for allowing the one model to travel on the track plate, and a connection member which connects the traveling bodies with the pulling bodies so that the pulling bodies may be vertical to the moving direction of the traveling bodies with respect to the traveling bodies and may be movable in a prescribed range in a direction parallel to the track plate.
