PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tablet dividing apparatus capable of accurately dividing a tablet without powdering a part thereof. SOLUTION: The base part 12 of a dividing mechanism 4 is rotated centering around a shaft 11 between a tablet charging posture wherein the base part 12 is inclined so that the leading end thereof turned downwardly and a tablet take-out posture wherein the base part 12 is inclined so that the leading end thereof is turned upwardly. Further, a linear projecting part 15 is arranged on the surface of the base part 12. A guide member 16 for guiding the tablet T so that the projecting part 15 is arranged to the almost central part of the tablet T is arranged to the base part 12. The dividing mechanism 14 is equipped with a pressing part 20 for pressing both left and right end parts of the tablet T placed on the projected part 15 toward the base part 12. The pressing part 20 is rotated between a standby position where the pressing part 20 is separated from the tablet T placed on the projected part 15 and a pressing position where both left and right end parts of the tablet T placed on the projecting part 15 are pressed to the base part 12.
