PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device enabling an image/voice type emergency calling system to be constructed only by additional construction work without the need to remove the equipment related to a voice type emergency calling system. SOLUTION: An interphone 4 is installed in an elevator car 1 and connected to a control device 2 which controls the driving system of the elevator car 1. An adapter 23 via which information signals based on signals outputted from the driving system or the interphone 4 are transmitted to the receiving device 15 of a management system by way of a digital communications network 14 is connected to a remote supervisory device 3 to which the control device 2 is connected. A supervisory camera 21 and a monitor device 22, additionally installed in the elevator car 1, are connected to the digital communications network 14 via the adapter 23. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
