<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a pack-bits processing for unpacking by each one color is applied in a system that processes pack-bits by each one block having data of a plurality of colors, an interruption is generated by each one color so that the efficiency of the system is lowered. <P>SOLUTION: A color address register 6 holds a plurality of addresses for storing unpacked data. A code recognition block 2 judges a kind of input data 1 and unpacks the packed data to output it to a memory 7. An address controller 5 sequentially reads the addresses from the color address register 6 and supplies address signals 16 indicative of the respective addresses to the memory 7 when the judged result designates a color change code.
