<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating and sterilizing apparatus which ejects hot water into a sterilization tank to heat and sterilize a material to be sterilized and eliminates a heating irregularity to prevent quality deterioration due to overheating or insufficient sterilization due to heating deficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The heating and sterilizing apparatus has the almost cylindrical sterilization tank 7 housing a large number of trays 4 on which materials 3 to be sterilized are housed in a stacked state and ejects hot water into the sterilization tank to heat and sterilize the materials to be sterilized in the sterilization tank. As nozzles for ejecting hot water into the sterilization tank, a hot water jet nozzle 1 for ejecting hot water to the materials to be sterilized to directly heat them and a hot water jet nozzle 2 for ejecting hot water upwardly in the vicinity of the side wall forming the straight body part of the sterilization tank in order to regulate the quantity of heat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
