<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus which prevents the deterioration of treated water purity in the softening and the purification, etc., of the water to be treated and secures the stability of installment by lowering the height of the whole of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the water treatment apparatus 1, the water to be treated is circulated to a storage part 3 in which the treating material 2 is packed and the softening and the purification, etc., is performed.
