<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a game space which has thrill and unpredictability free from depending on the operation skill of a player by expressing the personality of a character by mistake probability in the game of a style of allowing a character to attain a prescribed operation target when player operation input is given from a controller 2 within an accepting time (T1 to T2) to the characters B1 to B7 displayed on a screen 4. <P>SOLUTION: The receiving time during which the player has to perform operation input is clocked by a clock part 12. When operation input is given from the player within the receiving time, the mistake probability of making a mistake is calculated on the basis of character data 11 set to each character and a probability addition part 13 decides whether the prescribed operation target is to be attained or not according to the mistake probability.
